Garden Walks $7.00 per person

Do you know who grew the food you had for dinner?
Take a Garden Walk with a life long farmer who learned to garden from his parents and grandparents. Learn about locally grown food and why it is important

Your Garden Walk will include activities planned for creating memories while having fun in the “World of a Gardener”. Experiences count when you are learning to grow your own food. Garden Walk activities will be different as the Farmer’s Garden changes from season to season. On the garden walk you may do all or some of the following: Composting, weeding, planting, harvesting and learning about the conservation of soil and water. You get the idea. You will see how our vegetables are grown and may even get to harvest some vegetables that are ready for the Garden Patch Market.

Garden Walks $7.00 per person

Check the calendar on the farm house website before leaving home. Dates and hours often change due to garden conditions and weather. If you have a school group go to www.caglesdairy.com and book a class trip to the garden this fall.
